Good afternoon. Let me start today’s briefing.

Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Kim Jina will attend the East Asia Cooperation Forum 2025 hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday, July 15. The upcoming Forum will be held under the theme “The Future of Cooperation across East Asia in a Changing World.”

At the Forum, experts from countries in the region and representatives from international organizations will share countries’ policies on common regional challenges, including digital transformation and disaster response, and explore tangible solutions.

In her opening remarks, Vice Minister Kim will emphasize the need for cooperation among East Asian countries in the face of the global polycrisis, and express the Korean government's strong commitment to such cooperation.
